After shopping in Greenhills complex, we went to Kimpura to have our dinner. It's located in the ground floor of Unimart Building.
We never actually tried Shabu-Shabu yet mainly because we don't know how it should be cooked. But upon learning from our waiter that someone will be doing the cooking for us, we promptly ordered for one. The Shabu Shabu can be ordered as half order and it comes with a serving of Japanese rice. We also ordered Chiku, mixed nigiri with maki sushi, and Gyoza for our appetizer.
While waiting for our order, we were given hot tea and a mix of greens and fried anchovies. They also provided hot towels for us to clean our hands with.
Not soon enough, we were served with our order of Gyoza and it was heavenly. It was so flavorful and meaty too.
A lady dressed in kimono also approached us and started to cook our Shabu-Shabu. We were super curious that we stopped eating and silently watched her cook using her super big chopsticks. hehehehe
The cooking time was surprisingly fast, it only took no longer than 15 minutes. We were so excited to taste the soup once it was served. When I tasted it, I was baffled to discover that it was bland. We're not sure how to eat it so we tried adding in their peanut and spicy sauce but it still didn't help. Maybe next time we should ask the waiter how to eat it.
Even though Kimpura is quite expensive, it is worth a visit. They have many other dishes on their menu that looks promising.

After some time, our sushi arrived and it was a sight to behold. I don't know the names of the sushi on the plate but the one on the far end is what I dread most because it was a mouthful to eat. But kidding aside, their nigiri and maki sushi were all delicious.
