Resto Review: Mey Lin, SM North EDSA

After watching the movie and doing some errands, we went looking for a place to eat for dinner. I wanted to find a restaurant that serves hot soup so we thought of going to eat in a Chinese restaurant.

Mey Lin is located at the 3rd floor of SM North EDSA, Quezon City.

The interiors looked cozy and you can see through their kitchen. You can watch them hand pull their noodles. Plus they also serve complimentary hot tea. Nice!

We ordered Siomai (Php95) for our appetizer, Air-dried Duck with Sausage Rice Topping (Php200) for my husband and Seafood Noodle Soup (Php 220 meal size) for me.

Air-dried Duck with Sausage Rice Topping Php200

5 to 10 minutes later, the rice topping arrived. That was fast! The duck meat was succulent and the sausage tastes like Chinese chorizo which was expected. It comes with stir-fried Pechay sides.

Seafood Noodle Soup Php220 (Meal)

Another 10 minutes later, my soup arrived. It smells wonderful. My soup has a piece of fish fillet, shrimp, clams, a crab stick, some meat that tasted of fish balls and some Pechay. The broth tastes like a fusion of everything in it. Hard to describe but once you taste it you just know that it's seafood. heheheh And the hand pulled noodles were firm but it really didn't have a taste to it. By the way, the meal size soup is quite big in size and can be shared by two people.

Siomai Php95
The Siomai came last (it's 4 pieces by the way, hubby ate one right away). The waitress explained that it's because it will only be placed on the steamer upon ordering that's why it took to long to finish. But it was worth the wait since it's so meaty and yummy. I believe it also has mushrooms in it because I was able to see some bits.

Overall, we highly recommend dining here. The service is fast and the food is great. We will definitely be back when we're craving for a good Chinese cuisine.
