Places to go in Ilocos

We went to Ilocos some time last August 2012 together with Hubby's family. They hired a van to go around tourist spots in Ilocos and we tagged along. You'll be amazed that there's lot of places to go in Ilocos that one or two days won't be enough.

1. Baluarte in Vigan City

The Baluerte is a private owned property of Governor Chavit Singson turned into a zoo. Admission is free.

The street is filled with Spanish-styled houses which are also souvenir shops. Visitors can also try riding a Calesa to tour around town.
