We went to Ilocos some time last August 2012 together with Hubby's family. They hired a van to go around tourist spots in Ilocos and we tagged along. You'll be amazed that there's lot of places to go in Ilocos that one or two days won't be enough.
1. Baluarte in Vigan City
The Baluerte is a private owned property of Governor Chavit Singson turned into a zoo. Admission is free.

2. Calle Crisologo in Vigan City
Hidden Garden is a picturesque restaurant in the middle of Vigan. You can view their beautiful garden and pots - some of their plants are also for sale.

5. Cape Bojeador Lighthouse
Cape Bojeador Lighthouse is one of the historic sites in Ilocos and is one of the highest elevated Spanish colonial lighthouses in the Philippines.
6. Paoay Church
Paoay Church is a UNESCO world heritage site. It was built in 1896 using coral bricks for its massive walls.
