Franchising Seminar - March 27 to 28, 2014

I have just found out yesterday from a post/ad in Facebook that there will be a FREE franchising seminar to be held in Trinoma Activity center this Thursday and Friday. I have always been seeking for a good business that me and my husband can start on but failed to find one to suit us. So our hunt continues until we find the one.

Anyways, I have attended this morning's session and heard an inspirational talk from Senator Bam Aquino himself. He discussed that in order to put up your very own business/franchise, you should have the four (4) M's.

1. Money - to be able to start, you should have sufficient capital.
2. Market - there should be a market demand for your product/service.
3. Mentorship - there should be someone there to guide you through your business.
4. Mindset - you should have the right mind set to push through.

After Senator Bam Aquino's talk, the program proceeded with a panel discussion consisting of the following distinguished guests:

• Siu Ping Par, PR Gas President
• Tommany Tan, Fern Inc. President and CEO
• Donna Jiao, a jewelry entrepreneur based in Bulacan
• Ramon Lopez, Executive Director of Go Negosyo

It was inspiring to hear each one's challenges and success stories when they started up their businesses. It was enough to let through a spark of hope in my heart. I just need to do more research and persevere.

Attending the seminar was worth it and there are also selected franchises in the area for you to explore. I am thinking of going back again tomorrow just in case they will be discussing other topics.
