Loves watching movies, a sucker for romantic comedy love stories. And is looking forward to creating her own happy ending with her one and only.

About Jonathan 

Athan is a soldier of love and a student of life. He has survived numerous lows and celebrated several highs; all of which contributes to his outlook in life and backs up his mantra: "Trust the Universe!" 

Athan likes movies, tv series, books, computer, basketball, food, sleep and Jill.
Athan loves to travel and discover places, and he is excited with his latest journey of starting a family with his better half.

Our Love Story

Her Side of the Story

Athan and I met during a Siebel bootcamp at Accenture. Honestly, I don't even know his name during the entire bootcamp namin. Nakilala ko lang siya nung nagsimula ang tuksuan between him and MJ (my maid of honor). Even if I am close to MJ, I don't talk to Athan at all during those times. Shy kasi ako and wala naman ako topic para mapag-usapan.
Months passed after our bootcamp, our batch was asked to perform in Siebel's all-hands party which gave the batch a chance to meet up before leaving the office to practice. Those days were fun times and gave the whole batch a chance to bond and really know each other. After our actual performance, we went out to Kwagos to celebrate. That then started the frequent night outings of the batch.
At first, I was reluctant to join everytime they invite me because I was shy and not talkative. Until I gave in as long as MJ is there with me, at least may kausap ako.
Then on one particular night out, Athan was seated beside me and he started conversing with me. He was so interested to know stuff about me that he even asked me about my love life. I felt so comfortable talking to him, it was as if I've known him for so long na. Hanggang sa napansin kame ng isa sa kasama namin na napaka-engrossed namin sa isa't isa and he started pointing out na kamukha ko daw ex ni Athan. Having heard that statement, I felt awkward and medyo tumahimik na ako for the rest of the night.
But ever since that conversation, Athan became my frequent chat mate - asking more about my life and what I like doing. Athan then became my usual seatmate during night outs. I find myself laughing and smiling everytime I talk to him. Everything just fell into place as time passed by.
Our love story may not be love at first sight or any typical fairy tale stories. But I know for sure that I want to spend the rest of my life with a person who makes me feel special, who makes me laugh, who I can talk to just about anything and who lets me be who I am. And I am so lucky to have found my soul mate in Athan.

His Side of the Story

Our story is a typical boy meets girl - girl meets boy - boy likes girl - boy make girl drunk - girl likes boy story with numerous twists and turns and some plot holes here and there worthy to be made as the next John Lloyd and Sarah G blockbuster. Before we start the next chapter of our lives, here's a peek at the beginning of our real life ever after.
You could say that our love team is a classic case of destiny; where Jill, the bride, hails from Zamboanga, one of the southern most part of the Philippines; and Athan, the groom, has his roots from Ilocos Sur, on the other side of the Philippine archipelago. And after 28 years of planning, the Universe finally decided to let us meet in the buzzing and bustling Capital of Manila (well more of Mandaluyong :P). Even with the stage set for our story, it was not romance at first sight, we still had to go through several anecdotes of comedy, drama, action, suspense and, of course, kilig moments, that will give Peachy and Wacks a run for their money -- then sprinkle all that with some SPG events too. hehe ;).
We, the couple, are both very much alike and different at the same time. Jill is fashionable, likes to shop, is a mall rat plus some other girly stuff; while Athan likes to explore, read, sleep and just be yuppie guy. But between us, we love to eat, love to watch movies or TV series, love to have fun and most specially love each other.
