Balik Alindog with Sexy Chef

It has been awhile that I have not checked my weight and to my dismay I have once again gained the weight that I have previously lost plus more pounds. I have not been exercising and have also not been watching what I eat. I guess I was too stressed and busy that's why.

Now I have decided to get back in track and so I turn to my favorite diet meals, The Sexy Chef. They recently contacted me to inform me of their new diet plan called Sexy Delicious. This plan is not available through their website and I am not sure why. It costs Php1900 for 5 days which is their most affordable 1200-calorie/day eating plan to date. The plan includes 4 meals a day (breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner) and delivery within Metro Manila.

Day 1

Breakfast - Brown Rice Arroz Caldo with Tofu & Coffee
Lunch - Meatly Cubana Rice
Snacks - Sugar-free Chocolate Mousse
Dinner - Stir-fried Korean Noodles

All my meals for the day were delicious and fulfilling. I was impressed with the stir-fried Korean noodles because it was so tasty even though it didn't have any sauce. I just don't agree that my snack was a mousse - its consistency is more of a jelly.

Day 2

Breakfast - Egg Sarciado & Whole Wheat Bread & Coffee
Lunch - Chinese Style Fish & Sauteed String Beans & Brown Rice
Snacks - Gluten-free Carrot Muffin
Dinner - Chicken Tocino & Sauteed Chayote & Brown Rice

Breakfast was kind-of weird since it was hard boiled eggs with tomato sauce - was not sure on how to eat it. hehehehe Definitely loved my lunch but was disappointed with the chayote for dinner.

Day 3

Breakfast - Gluten-free Banana Bread & Coffee
Lunch -Stir-fried Noodle with Chicken
Snacks - Jicama Sticks with Creamy Pesto Dip
Dinner - Chicken Teriyaki with Miso Eggplant & Brown Rice

I don't usually eat Jicama but it was made more bearable when eaten together with the dip.

Day 4

Breakfast - Vegetable Omelette with Coffee
Lunch - Garlic Chicken with Sauteed Beans & Brown Rice
Snacks - Sugar-free Buco Pandan Pudding
Dinner - Bangus Sisig over KangKong Rice

I am not a fan of my pudding's color - it looked like slime hahahaha but it was good.

Day 5

Breakfast - Oatmeal Muffin & Coffee
Lunch - Chicken Burger Sandwich
Snacks - Chocolate Chip Oaties
Dinner - Singaporean Stir-fried Noodles

Verdict:

The Sexy Chef has never failed to deliver when it comes to quality and tasty meals. I was able to lose 2 pounds this week even though I did not strictly followed the plan. I occasionally took biscuits in between breakfast and lunch as I tend to get hungry during those times.

This diet plan can definitely become a contender against all other emerging diet plans as the price is almost at par with them. I can definitely say that Sexy Chef wins in term of food quality and quantity too. But I do believe that they should think of adding another snack to this plan though.
