Wedding Expo June 2012 by Themes and Motif

Me and Athan went to World Trade Center during the weekend to attend the Philippine Wedding Summit organized by Themes and Motif. What's great about events organized by Themes and Motif is that they always have loot bags for all their attendees. =) I'm so happy that I have another bridal magazine to browse through weee


Anyways, as we enter the venue, ang laki ng place! At ang dami suppliers. We started at 10:30 AM and went home at 6:30 PM. Ganun kame katagal sa loob. And good thing I also have registered for the VS&F Grand Food Tasting which is also held inside. We don't need to spend a single peso for lunch hehehe Below are some pics of the food served by VS&F. Hindi pareho ang food sa plates namin ni h2b, which was a good idea para talagang matry ang iba ibang ulam nila. Sorry masyado kame gutom hindi lahat napicturan namin =b

The food was very good and the table set-up is also elegant. However, when presented with their packages. Medyo it was off our budget =( Kaya I don't think VS&F will be part of our short-listed caterers. Pero we do recommend them because of their great food and also experience na rin in event styling. They are the exclusive caterer of Grand Terrace I believe. And maganda din venue ung Grand Terrace but it's also a bit pricey. But if you are looking for an indoor garden venue, you may want to consider the Grand Terrace.

After the sumptuous lunch, we proceeded going through every booth in the expo. We are more interested on checking out wedding rings and also photo video. I am already settled with a ring we saw at Orocher in SM North and since they are included in the event we went directly to their booth to check if bibigyan kame ng discount since it is an expo. May discount naman kaso less than 1k. hahaha We then browsed muna sa ibang shops and H2B was eyeing on a comfort-fit classic wedding band that was super heavy yet super expensive nga lang din. If he was going to buy that, mas mahal ung band nya kaysa sa akin hahaha Ang dami maganda actually, we also saw bands with black enamel and also one with rhodium kaso it was quite expensive maybe because the store is well-known.

Tas sa photo video naman, we dropped by at B.A. studio and we are attended by Ms. Brenda and she offered us a very irresistible deal. Dun kame actually nagtagal kasi todo isip kame. All-in package na kasi and we are so tempted that we actually gave in and paid 1k for reservation. The only con about them is we do not like their videos. Well.. we do still have time to think it over pa naman. We'll see na lang if we are still going to get them or not. (Talk about compulsive buying hehehe)

At the end of day 1 namin sa expo, we ended up mostly window shopping lang. Overnight, we arranged and reviewed each flyers we got and thought to go back to the expo the next day. And so we did and we also bought our wedding rings na rin with Orocher in lay-away (12 months to pay). Overall, it was a very good expo, cons lang sana they have food stalls din to buy water and some snacks.
