Sarap maging kid with Inipit! #NoLimitWithInipit

I have recently got into baking and it kept me busy. Too busy that I am not able to make cakes for my family's own occasions. I would love to find a recipe where I can easily create great desserts with less the time and attention. Then by chance I came upon a contest by Lemon Square to create a dessert using their soft and fluffy Inipit. Me and my hubby took the challenge after some brainstorming we finally came up with the perfect unique dessert!

Ladies and gents, let us present to you two of our dessert collaboration - Chocolate Pudding Inipit and Strawberry Jelly Inipit. Did we get your attention? Read on to learn how to make these easy desserts...

Let's start with how to make the Chocolate Pudding Inipit. You will need the following ingredients:
  • Lemon Square's Inipit (any flavor to your liking, we used the custard variant)
  • 1 package Chocolate Pudding Mix (or any flavor)
Can't find any Pudding Mix? Don't fret, it's easy to make your very own home made pudding. You'll need the following to make more than a cup of pudding:
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp + 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • scant of 1/8 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Steps to make home-made pudding:
  1.  Mix together sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch and salt in a microwave safe bowl.
  2. Gradually mix in milk.
  3. Microwave the mixture for 10 minutes - stirring the mixture every after 2 minutes until it boils.
  4. Stir in butter and vanilla extract.
Preparation:
  1.  Line up Lemon Square's Inipit in your preferred container.
  2. If your pudding mix is liquid-y, it would be an added surprise if you poke some holes on the Inipit.
  3. Pour your Pudding mix onto the lined inipit.
  4. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
  5. Optional: Serve with whipped cream on top.

This is quite sweet so there's still room for improvement. You may opt to choose fruity pudding instead of chocolate. Or you may use Lemon Square's chocolate Inipit together with the chocolate pudding. Possibilities are endless. =) Yum yum yum

If you are looking for a more refreshing dessert, you'll love our next recipe: Strawberry Jelly Inipit. You will need the following:
  • Lemon Square's Inipit (any flavor to your liking, we used the custard variant)
  • 1 package 3oz strawberry Jello (or any flavor)
  • 3oz whip cream
Steps:
  1. Line up Lemon Square's Inipit in your prefrerred container then set aside.
  2. Prepare the jelly mousse:
    1. In a small bowl, dissolve 2oz of the Jello mix with 2/3 cup boiling water.
    2. Once dissolved, add 1/3 cup cold water.
    3. Let jelly sit in room temperature to slightly set. You can also but it in the refrigerator for 10-15minutes.
    4. Once jelly is thickened, beat in the whip cream. If mousse is too watery you can refrigerate it for 10-15 minutes before spreading to our Inipit layer.
  3. Once mousse is ready, spread evenly on top of Inipit layer.
  4. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until mousse is set.
  5. Optional: Line up your preferred garnish on top of the mousse for added fun! We used gummy berries hehehe
  6. While waiting for the mousse to set, we can now prepare the jelly layer.
    1. Dissolve 1oz of the Jellow mix with 1/3 cup of boiling water.
    2. Once dissolved, add 3 Tbsp cold water.
  7. Once jelly reach room temperature, we may now pour jelly on top of the mousse layer.
  8. Refrigerate for another hour or until fully set.
